I recently had a company meeting at the bar Sprezzatura and I wanted to share our experience. Although we didn't order any food, we were there for the cocktails, and they were truly impressive. The attention to detail in the taste and presentation of the cocktails was exceptional. The service was also exceptional and I have nothing negative to say about the front of house. We'll be back very soon and will most likely order the cocktails. Cheers!

Everything was perfect. Friendly and attentive service. Gorgeous and tasty cocktails. Lovely wine list. Beautiful venue. Except pastas and salads. The salads were much larger than expected- yum!

Overall 4/5, with wide variation by dimension. Apps: 3/5 We got the baccala (salted cod), "caprese," and forest floor. The first two are tiny; enough for a total of two bites, which is a bit aggro for $9. I'd rather they charged a bit more but have it be a proper app for two. All the bread is also the same texture: thin and crispy. Switching it up and making the focaccia soft and bready would be better, but maybe that's not traditional in whatever part of Italy their cuisine is from. Pasta: 5/5 We got the shrimps scampi which is a 7/5, rich but not too heavy, amazing flavor, perfect amount of kick. Also got the agnolotti, richer than I expected but super delicious. Dessert: 4/5 Pistachio cake was excellent Drinks: 4/5 Nice selection of cocktails, unique and very theatrical. My Nebbiolo was also a 7/5. Docking 1 star because the prices are extra: even in SF, a $24 cocktail is a bit much. Service: 3/5 Disappointed in our server. He was very sweet whenever we actually got his attention, but he was overall inattentive and we had to work way too hard to get him to come by. Twice we ended up ordering from someone else.

Definitely a gem and a fantastic recommendation for a classy experience. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the overall establishment is beautiful and clean. The food and drinks here are done flawlessly- I have absolutely no complaints about any of the dishes or drinks we had. You can tell that the ingredients used are high quality and meant to be enjoyed. LOVE the espresso martini btw. If you're on the fence, just come here and try it out for yourself! :)

Bar Sprezzatura was amazing during SF Restaurant Week! We had made a Wednesday dinner reservation in advance, which I recommend doing because they were very busy. The interior was gorgeous - art deco vibes, huge open windows, plush seating, and a beautiful bar. We loved the chic, lively ambiance! For drinks, I got the Nonna's Garden mocktail and my friend got the Raspberry Beret. Both were very pricy ($14 for the mocktail, $21 for the cocktail), but delicious. The Nonna's Garden was so refreshing, and the Raspberry Beret tasted a bit like Sangria. For food, the SF Restaurant Week menu featured three courses, with three options per course. We both chose the Fresh Bigoli and Braised Beef Cheeks. The Fresh Bigoli was unreal - perfectly cooked fresh pasta with a delicious duck ragu! The portion size was very generous, considering this was only the first course. The Braised Beef Cheeks were also incredible, and we couldn't believe how soft the meat was. The vegetables and cauliflower puree were also perfect, and went so well together. We were pretty full after the pasta, so we ended up taking half of this course to-go. For dessert, I chose the Budino Di Riso Vialone Nano and my friend got the Pistachio Cake. The Budino was a decadent rice pudding, and the inside tasted just like a dessert version of burratta - so unique! I really loved it, and again, the portion size was slightly too large for me to finish. The Pistachio Cake was very good. The ice cream scoop it came with was also pistachio flavored, so it's ideal for pistachio lovers. Service was friendly and very professional, but not fast at all. Great for a leisurely, multi-course dinner! Overall, we loved Bar Sprezzatura - would definitely return to try more in the future.

Pictured: Bartenders Choice Pictured: Meatball Tapas Not Pictured: Espresso Martini Not Pictured: Cured Meat and Cheeses This place blew me away right off the bat with such a nice aesthetic and big open windows. server sat down immediately for six and helped us with drinks and food. I appreciated that the waiter asked if there were dietary restrictions which there were, super helpful! We started off with the cured meat and cheese plates. I ordered an espresso martini. That espresso martini was super strong and tasty and I love the cured meats we chose. I wasn't the biggest fan of the cheese that was similar to Parmesan cheese. It was a bit salty, but the crackers toned them down. Our second round of orders we got the meatballs and I will have to say the bread that came with. It was absolutely phenomenal. I will definitely be coming back and trying more items on the menu and bringing people to see this cute little bar.

Went here for a birthday bash with around 16 of us, but the seating was a tad cramped for my liking. Still, gotta admit, the decor was absolutely stunning! We went for the prefix menu, and I pretty much sampled everything, except maybe the salad--I guess I got too distracted! For starters, the Hawaiian big eye tuna stole the show with its refreshing burst of flavor. The starcciatella wasn't bad either, though I couldn't quite pinpoint all the ingredients--maybe some goat cheese with green olives and oil? Moving on to mains, the bigoli didn't quite hit the mark for me; it lacked that distinctive duck flavor and ended up tasting more like spaghetti. The Ricotta was decent, but the Risotto with razor clam stole the spotlight with its rich, flavorful goodness. When it came to dessert, I decided to give it a miss. Tiramisu, my usual favorite, was alright but didn't quite match up to other places I've tried. Now, the espresso martinis--those were a hit! Strong and delicious, especially if you're into that kind of thing. But honestly, all their drinks were pretty great! While the place is undeniably cute, I'd say skip the prefix menu if you can, especially if you're keen on trying specific dishes. Understandable for a big group, but it did limit our options a bit.

I was blown away with how beautiful this space is! The colors, decor, and bar are breathtaking. It's in the middle of the Embarcadero and kind of obscure to get to, but it makes it feel like a tucked-away secret. The service was alright - the first server was a bit cold and multiple people kept asking us if we wanted anything. The drinks are all $18+ which is what I guess the going rate is for beautiful ambiance. The "buy myself flowers" was a standout. Delicious and creamy. I ended the night with a grasshopper - perfect for a chilly night. The food was a surprise! I was expecting small bar bites but the mushroom "Forest floor" was filling and so delicious. Three small plates were enough to keep two people happy. Definitely worth coming for a pre-dinner bite or drink!
